My skirt is finished but......... . but it’s too long for me (even after taking it up a few inches). I’m going to put it aside for a few days to take a break since I’m getting pretty frustrated about it. As much as I wanted to have it done for family pictures, I don’t think I’m going to have time to re-hem it by this weekend 😞 I guess that means I’ll need to do an extra photo shoot to showcase this beauty (@thecatieyocom you interested? 😏🤭😆) . That’s one thing that makes sewing any pant or skirt pattern hard, the length/inseam. My size is always too long for me. I’m 5’2” and a size 8-10, I’ve got wide hips and I’m usually a larger pant size because of it (larger size = longer length). Has anyone else had the same problem? Is this when I need to grade a pattern between two sizes?? Or is grading something entirely different? Help me I’m clueless!!
